Fabi:

So what are chakras? You may have heard of the word, in maybe a yoga class or someone in the esoteric community or conscious community speak of it. But you're kind of still kind of early or new to this journey and you need a bit more information about what what these energy centers really are. So sharpen's are another word for energy centers. So there's different modalities or schools of thought about how many there are, but within your body, there's 7 main chakra, centers.

Fabi:

And each of those center, have different colors, and they also are in different positions in your body as well as they work with different parts of you. So if you are working with if you feel like you have, blocks around your creativity, for example, that's typically your sacral chakra. Your sacral chakra is where your creativity is, and so when you you see me point here, it's kind of in your womb reproductive area, and that's where there that's where you you hold your creativity. As women, we are creators. We create life in our womb.

Fabi:

So our wombs are like portals to another dimension, because if you think about it is if you are a person with a womb, you are able to bring life into this incarnation. So you have a direct link to the other side or the spirit realm because of the ability for a spirit to come into your body and incarnate through birth. And so your sacral chakra is what I would typically say you need to focus on if you come to me and you tell me, I just have creativity block. I just don't know what my purpose is. I don't know, a lot of times you have some sexual, blockages there from past relationships, so there's each of these chakras have a specific type of area in your life where you could kind of focus on that area or that chakra and balancing it and opening it, if it's kind of closed.

Fabi:

And so to just start from the beginning, your first chakra is your root chakra and it is located at the base of your spine, or about, like, right above your internally interface of your spine or, like, right above your knee, above your knees, and so that is your first chakra, and that's, where you feel grounded. So when people say grounding, a lot of times if you do grounding meditations, your, what they have you visualize is kind of a red column, and that's kind of your base of safety. And so if you have, a lot of fear responses, if you feel unsafe, your root chakra is where you're gonna feel it first. That's kind of your first place where you feel like you are, either in danger or not. So if you have a overactive or underactive or blocked root chakra, you're going to feel a lot of anxiety, a lot of, fight or flight experiences, a lot of triggering.

Fabi:

So that's kind of the first line of defense around if your root chakra is not healthy, then all the other chakras the energy is not gonna flow up, in the analogy of energy and analogy of of kin and life force energy. And so the first one is the root and then the next one which is red, next one is orange, and that's the sacral chakra. And the sacral chakra, like I said, is around your womb slash reproductive organs, and men and women have the same chakras in the same area, and that's orange. And so I think we talked a little bit about the root chakra Oh, the sacral chakra, and so your next one, the 3rd chakra, is your solar plexus, and that's kind of so red, orange, yellow. So yellow is the color for your solar plexus, and that is where you hold your emotions.

Fabi:

And so your gut, your yeah. Like when people say, I have a gut feeling about that. I just followed my gut. The gut is basically another word for your solopixis. That's where you, you process emotions, you hold emotions, you trap emotions.

Fabi:

And if you have not been able to move emotions through your body, if you're not able to process the emotions that you're feeling, if you're suppressing your emotions, you're going to feel that from your solar plexus. And so when you focus on solar plexus, you focus on kind of the the color of that of of that chakra. So yellow, a lot of times because of the winter, and the sun not being out that often, we feel like we get anxiety around, seasonal anxiety issues of depression. And so that's the solid practice. If you have depression, anxiety, any of those emotions or any of those feelings that are linked to emotions, that is where your focus is going to be to work on your solar plexus, to increase anything around yellow, and there there's a there's different things you can do to open up your solar plexus or to, if it's overactive, to bring it in in balance.

Fabi:

And then the 4th one is what the most one of the most important chakras, and that's your heart chakra. That's green. So green is the the place where you feel love. If you say you're heartbroken, that is your heart chakra is where you can share the love that you have innately with the world and receive love. Or you can have that blocked if you have a heart war or you've you've heard you've been hurt so many times in the past, and you do not feel like you can be loved or you can share your love, that typically shows up in issues around your heart chakra.

Fabi:

And the interesting thing about this as a set aside is there are manifestations of energetic blocks in the physical if it's been happening for long enough. So what I mean when I say that is you will see a lot of times that people may have vascular issues, and it can be traced back to a heart chakra imbalance or a blockage from an energetic perspective. And so things always have an emotional energetic source, and that's where it starts and it builds up when it's left unchecked for a while, and then it'll show up as an emotion, And then when it's still left up unchecked, it'll show up and compounded. It'll show up in the physical. It'll manifest in the physical as a, you know, IBS or, it'll manifest as, like I said, a heart condition or it'll manifest so any and all physical illnesses can be traced to a blockage from an energetic perspective.

Fabi:

It just depends on you to kind of trace back what what is the root cause of that. And that's why they call it energy healing because you can find and there's been studies and there's accounts of deep and amazing healing that has happened for people with chronic illnesses through the use of energy healing, because of the energetic ultimate root of those issues, and if you don't get to that root, you probably you're just surface level fixing the issue. And so again, the 3rd chakra the full chakra is your heart chakra, that's green. So red, orange, yellow, green. It's the colors of the rainbow if you I didn't figure that out for a while, but, so the, the green one is your heart chakra.

Fabi:

And so, again, the the it goes from one in in, in sequence. So you won't be able to feel love if you don't feel safe. If you don't, feel that creativity. If you don't, if you don't have the the capacity to, process your emotions. So the key or the life force energy is gonna struggle to get to your heart chakra.

Fabi:

Again, a you're gonna struggle with, being able to show love, to feel love, to be loved, to be your true authentic self, if the other chakras aren't also in balance and if the inner the life force energy cannot flow, freely through your other chakras. And so there is, there is kind of a sequence to this, and a sequence to you can trace back if you if you're if you have heart issues or you're you're you can't express self love, that's a big piece of this where people struggle, especially women struggle, to express their love for themselves and self acceptance. And ultimately, that is because they have unhealed wounds, unhealed, unhealed blocks in their other chakras or part of their emotional, self and, experiences that they've had as a child, and so they cannot feel that love that that they give others for themselves. And so the first chakra is, the 3rd chakra, which is blue, and that is how you express yourself. That is how you manifest into the world.

Fabi:

That is either that is typically something that you can quickly see from someone or how they speak and how they are able to or not able to express themselves, whether or not there's that chakra is over overstimulated, under stimulated, or not in balance. And so if you have any trouble with, speaking your truth, if you have trouble with saying no, with setting boundaries, that is where I would start to get what is your relationship to your throat? Do you, do you feel like you were silenced as a as a kid? Do you feel like there's there's a part of you that wants to scream, but you've stopped yourself from doing that. Like your throat chakra is, that place where you can speak into the world, where you can create into the world, that you manifest from the inside and you put it into the world.

Fabi:

So your throat chakra is very important and it's important to, not only speak, but be discerning when you speak. And so sometimes you also see where on the other side of it is there's like an overstimulated or overextended throat chakra, which means that some that there's not a lot of discernment from what you're saying. So you you may have blockages in the other chakras, and so you're just speaking maybe from your mind and you're not speaking from your heart and you're speaking, just for the sake of it and not really from your inner being and you, you're trying, your ego is running the show. And so, there's, there's different things you can do to help clear your throat chakra so that you can really access your heart and speak from the heart. As you know, the saying is speaking from the heart.

Fabi:

That's like actually what you are doing when you tap into your, your 4th chakra, which is your heart chakra and be able to speak your heart. The 6th chakra is your 3rd eye, which is right here, and it's kind of it's your 3rd eye is seen as your pineal gland, in your brain as well. And this is kind of where you are able to see, without seeing with your eyes. So you're able to discern and see, things that are outside of this current, material realm and your your inspiration comes from here. You can get inspired or you can be uninspired depending on how open or close your your your third eye is.

Fabi:

And so that when you get to a point where your third eye is in in the mix, you need to think about being at such a place from the first chakra all the way through where you have dealt with feeling safe and providing safety. You have worked through any of the wounds you have maybe from a wound wound perspective, you have worked through, emotions, you you can sit in your heart and you can be love and share love. You are able to speak your truth and then you get to your your third eye. And this is not necessarily like depending on where you are and how, intuitive you are, you may have a 3rd eye that is, you know, fully open, not overextended, but your your other chakras aren't as aligned. So it's not necessarily either or, but 9 times out of 10, you're you're not gonna be able to access that intuition or you're not gonna be able to access that discernment and that ability to see, you know, that almost like see into the future for, you know, quote unquote.

Fabi:

You're not gonna be able to do that if you do not have a open, 3rd eye which kind of stacks on top of that. And then the last one is your crown chakra. So the 7th chakra is your crown chakra and that is located right here. So showing you, at the top of your head. And your crown chakra is basically your connection with the divine, with source energy, with God, with spirit, with the universe, whatever you want to call it.

Fabi:

That is your where you can connect with your higher self, and so your, again, you could be very in your head, and you could be very, you know, esoteric, and you could be, you know, have a lot of intuition, and but that could also show as there's no grounding there if your 3rd if your first chakra isn't if you're not grounded. And so what I see a lot and what I've experienced in the past is especially when I go and do, like meditation retreat or I go and have, like, like, all mountain top experiences, I'm very much in my higher chakras. I have I've been able I'm able to speak. I'm able to see. I'm able to experience and be connected to the divine, and I feel just so open.

Fabi:

But I also struggle to ground in that case because I'm kind of untethered. So if you have a feeling of being untethered, if you have a feeling of this, like, scattered brain is another way to speak about it, if you have that experience of you don't you don't know where to start. You just kind of like running on a treadmill and you, there's no stopping you. You, and that probably means that you are too much in your physical head or your, you have overactive or too open third eye and crown chakras without that energy, without being grounded. And so we should think about the energy of this and you keep coming back to, if I can imagine the energy being either flowing beautifully up and down my channel or being stuck in one place and not having access to the other pieces or, kind of being all over the place.

Fabi:

The I The ideal is for it to all flow in alignment all the way from your your crown chakra, from source all the way down, and you're grounded, and you can pull from the earth the support that you need to be able to keep that kind of channel open, and you are able to tap into that when you need to. But it's not running it's not running ragged. You don't feel like you're running at, you know, 30 miles an hour. You are kind of in a circle that in alignment. And so your alignment will come.

Fabi:

You'll be able to make aligned decisions. You'll be able to, live in alignment, live in an aligned life and live into your purpose when you have your chakras aligned because they are all they all kind of work together. Like I said, they all stack on top of each other. And so whenever you are wondering why do I like just with curiosity, not with not with non judgmental ness and just unconditional love, just be curious and sit down and wonder and kind of write down, you know, where where could which chakra could this be, and where can I which chakra can I work on first or where does it need the most work? And based on that, there are so many things online you could do.

Fabi:

And so maybe let's talk a little bit about tips and tricks around what can you do if you identify, you know, maybe I think I need to work on my root chakra, for example. There are a lot of things that you can do. Obviously, you can go see a reiki practitioner. They can support you and work through that, but without that, there's things that you can do just by yourself as well. So like I said, each chakra has a color, and you can look it up, and there's, like, a lot on online, there's a lot of different illustrations, but try to eat more food that's related to that color.

Fabi:

So for example, orange, if you feel like you have some work to do in your sacral sacral, like a lot of women, myself included, need to do a lot of womb work. So whether that be flu because of trauma from childhood, trauma from childbirth, trauma from, past lives, even just sexual trauma, trauma around, the not even just trauma, just emotions that, or energies that have come from sexual partners in the past that have not been worked through. If you do not feel like your womb is a place where you feel is, in alignment or healthy, there's a lot of you can do with that, and we can talk about that on another episode. But for shakral chakra, for example, around creativity, how do you kind of tap into that flow state? Eating things that are orange, like sounds ridiculous, but that definitely helped.

Fabi:

Like orange things, like surround yourself with more orange things. Also, because of like the creativity of it, like flowing of it, like dancing, creative, expressing yourself in a creative way, being more, doing things that you enjoy even if it's just for 10 minutes. You play a song that you feel like will will help you kind of get out of your head and just kind of get into your body. There's a lot of specific frequency music that that speaks to each chakra on Spotify, and so just Google psychosakra songs and listen to that. Sound healing is another option, and there's a lot of sound healing workshops and practitioners that you can go see, and so sound bowls actually are, each bowl is, aligned with a specific chakra and each and they have different sizes.

Fabi:

And so each size of the bowl creates a different frequency and because we're all energy in it, this is all energy work, that frequency can tune your specific chakra. And so that's why you feel so amazing and just so calm when you go to a sound sound healing session or sound bath. And so but if you don't if you don't if you don't have the capacity to go to a sound bath or it is nothing close to you, literally just scoop, like, search for it on Spotify. There's also great, grounding and specific guided meditations spotify. So what I found is especially when you're new to this and this is, kind of just the beginning of your journey with all the stuff, make sure that you use any and all free resources that are available to you and try and really just, you know, resource yourself and don't try and do, you know, don't expect yourself to want to do too much at the beginning, But also guided meditations are such a great intro to meditating.

Fabi:

I know a lot of people talk about meditating. There's a lot of, you know, misinformation out there, what meditating should look like, what meditating shouldn't look like. And so, I would just really, try and find as many short and quick guided meditations and that way you can visualize it. They they really walk you through different steps of how to tap into what exactly you're dealing with and what you're working with. And so do not let your fear of I don't know how to meditate stop you from really giving yourself the support that you need.

Fabi:

And so Yeah. If, if there's any, you know, questions you guys have or if you want more of these types of tutorials of, like, how do I just start? What's, like, the basics? You know, slow down. Let's just go back to the basics of all these words and things that people speak of in the kind of conscious community of the esoteric world.

Fabi:

I would love to do more of these. So let me know, what you think about it. All right. Thank you.
